Her visit to our center was not the first time for Mrs. Sorvino to show a strong interest in the problem of human trafficking. In fact she has been campaigning with the UNODC in different nations and will soon be staring in a movie about child victims of trafficking. We highly appreciate her visit as well as her help to raise awareness on the problem of child trafficking.
Mrs. Sorvino’s visit followed the inspection of the CPDC by a UNODC delegation of the Japanese government earlier this month. UNODC continues to be a reliable supporter and great partner in our fight against human trafficking, child prostitution and exploitation in South East Asia.
The HHN Foundation Thailand would like to take this chance to thank Mrs. Sorvino and her delegation, as well as the UNODC, for helping us care for and provide a future for Thailand’s underprivileged children.
