The US Navy is a constant benefactor of the CPDC. Whenever there is the time, different units from the US Navy take some days off to visit our project in Pattaya. In the beginning, they used to help us starting our farming projects or repairing what the heavy rain might has destroyed. On Friday however, they simply spend some time with our children having a splendid time together.
As our children at CPDC went to school in the morning, our guests from the US Navy planned their visit for the afternoon. While our children were coming back from school, our staff seized the chance to share CPDC’s positive development and its plans for the future with the unit from the US Navy during a guided walk around the compound.
When we finished our little tour, our children had already exchanged their school uniforms for something more comfortable and waited for our guests to arrive at the sports field.
There, everyone joined the US Navy’s activities to do some sports together. Of course, the boys could not wait to challenge our guests to an exciting football match.
Spending so much time together playing e.g. basketball and football, however, had made our children and our guests very hungry. Therefore, our guests from the US Navy joined for dinner, thus spend some more time with our children, before saying goodbye.
We would like to thank this unit from the US Navy for taking their time to visit the CPDC, for showing so much interest in our work and especially for spending such a fun afternoon with our children.
