Saturday afternoon when the Charity Extravangaza show  was held at the Thai Alangkarn Theatre ,  which included  dance performances by the children of the Sotpattana School for the Deaf  and the Pattaya Orphanage children.

Fr. Michael Weera Phangrak Executive Director of the Pattaya Orphanage and Sotpattana School for the Deaf had welcomed everyone and had given a wonderful message in regards of the 30 years of achievement and progress of the school for the deaf.  Our special guests included Khun Sopin Thappajug (Managing Director, Diana Group and Board member of Human Help Network Thailand) as our main guest, Mr. Maurice Dimmock (Rose Education Foundation), Fr. Pattarapong Srivorakul, (President of Fr. Ray Foundation), Mr. & Mrs. Rainer Calmund, William Marcey (President Pattaya Sports Club,) Dr. Michel Roche and members of French Association as well as Members of P.I.L.C., Rotary Club, newspapers & media and other charitable organizations.

When the children from all the different welfare organizations arrived, they all joined in the Restaurant to enjoy a snack together, which the Alangkarn theatre management had gracefully offered.  After this treat for the children, the spectacular show of the Thai history began.  With complex sceneries and great performances by the dancers of the Alangkarn theatre it created a show that impressed and fascinated the audience.

All in all it was a wonderful day for the children and on behalf of the School for the Deaf and the Orphanage we would like to thank all our guests and sponsor, for joining this great event and for your great trust in us and our children. With your kind support we raised nearly 1.2 million Baht. We would also like to express our gratitude mostly to Khun Suttikorn Jierpaitoon, for providing us their facilities and performers for their wonderful assistance in teaching our children the art of dancing.
