They started their visit by playing with the students of the Sotpattana School for the Deaf in the well equipped motivation room of the Pattaya Orphanage. Later on they visited the babies’ section. For the nursing unit of the baby room the group sponsored equipment in the amount of 57.000 THB in honor of Mr. Jeffrey D. Clarkin. Afterwards when having a look at the memory room for Father Ray Brennan, they surprised Mrs. Radchada Chomjinda and Rev. Fr. Kritsada Sukkaphat, Deputy Director of the Pattaya Orphanage, with a further donation of 90.000 THB which will be spend on ceiling fans in the rooms of the children. The remaining money can be used for the renovation of the facilities of the School for the Deaf. To bring the visit to a nice closure group pictures of the charitable benefactors together with the happy children were taken.
We want to thank the SEGs group for their wonderful visit and their amazing donation. Indeed this day will contribute to keep the name of Mr. Jeffrey D. Clarkin in grateful memory.
