The numerous guests from Austria and other countries enjoyed a wonderful evening with music, delicious Austrian food and dancing performances. Before the program started, Peter Malhotra, the managing director of PATTAYA MAIL, declared the buffet opened.
Shortly after, the specially flown in ´Blaskapelle` Band from Austria beautifully played the National Anthems of Thailand and Austria to officially open the evening.
All through the evening the guests could enjoy a beautiful program while savouring the professionally prepared food from the buffet. While the amazing Band played numerous Austrian songs, creating Austrian atmosphere around the pool at the Thai Garden Resort, the highlight was a dancing performance by 15 of our children from the CPDC. The talented teenagers presented a ´Bandltanz´, a traditional Austrian dance. All the hard training was rewarded with a huge hand clap by all the delighted spectators.
Later raffle tickets were sold 100 Baht each, with the profits all going towards our Child Protection Program in Pattaya. Great prices from Swarovski, donated by His Excellency the Austrian Ambassador, were given out to the lucky winners at the official end of this beautiful event.
An open end gave everyone the chance to enjoy the Austrian atmosphere a bit longer, being served a whole variety of international drinks by the excellent Thai Garden Resort staff.
