Since March of 2020, Pattaya has been experiencing city lockdown, shut down of all hotels, restaurants, bars, malls and all attractions. Its number of both international and domestic was drastically dropped to less than 5 % of 9.6 million tourists in 2018 not to mention the loss of annual income of 264 billion THB.
The city slowly dies as businesses have gone bankrupt, rate of unemployment skyrockets and even expats and labors finally decide to migrate back. Left in the ruin of the ghost city with the remaining population are underprivileged children who stand no chance against this crisis.
HHNFT Care Bag project was first launched in early 2020 as a COVID-19 pandemic relief campaign for migrant children in campsite in Pattaya area.
The project was very successful, which result in many generous benefactors joining the project and over 500 sets of Care Bags distributed to the underprivileged in slums, construction campsites and communities.
In 2021, HHNFT aims to distribute more Care Bags until the situation in Pattaya gets resolved.
