English Lesson by Khun Alexandra Augustijn

This week at English classes:
You learn English mainly by daring to speak. This week we paid a lot of attention to this. More and more children are no longer afraid to speak English.
Juniors
The juniors sang the song ‘how are you today?’ We then did a question and answer game. One child asked the question ‘how are you’, the other child answered for example ‘I am good, I am happy or I am sad’. In addition to ‘speak English’, the juniors learn the ‘learning English’ words ‘write, read, listen to, color English words and sentences’. That’s what we do in English classes.
Intermediates
The intermediates sang the “hello” song and practiced speaking by asking “how are you?” and “how about you?” They also learned the above ‘Learning English’ words.
The advanced group
At the advanced group we had an extra teacher k. Danielle from London, the UK. The children were motivated to ask her questions and came up with questions like ‘what’s your name?, how are you?, where are you from?, what do you like?, what do you hate?, how old are you?, what do you like about Thailand? Then we played a I and You game in small groups. With k. Danielle, k. Lam and K. Alexandra we were able to give the children more individual attention and to practice speaking intensively. We ended the English lesson with a word game where they had to form words from letters.
We are happy that k. Danielle will help us more often from next week together with another volunteer k. Andy from Australia. This way we can make more progress.😘🙏
